A importância das redes na educação empreendedora

Abstract

The objective of this work is to map and analyze the scientific productions related to
Entrepreneurial Education that evidenced and/or addressed the importance of Networks
for the phenomenon, published until the middle of the first two months of 2023. To
achieve the proposed objective, descriptive research with a quantitative approach was
carried out., through a bibliometric analysis based on data obtained by Thomson
Reuters' Web of Science index. Data were organized and analyzed using EndNote® and
Microsoft Excel® software and VOSviewer® software for creating networks. As a
result, 1953 publications on entrepreneurial education were located in the analyzed
period, of which 12% of this sample addresses the issue of networks for the
phenomenon, a result that signals the relevance of the topic and the importance of
networks for this type of education. The authors who stood out with the highest number
of publications were researchers from the United States, England, China and France.
Authors Burt, Shane, Aldrich, Uzzini and Hoang were the most influential in the
sample. From the analysis of the results, it was possible to identify that Entrepreneurial
Education proved to be scientific field of growing interest, which has been showing its
contributions to economic and social development.

Francisval de Melo Carvalho, Universidade Federal de Lavras

Possui graduação em Engenharia Agronômica pela Escola Superior de Agricultura de Lavras, atual Universidade Federal de Lavras (1987) e mestrado em Administração Rural pela mesma instituição (1992). Em 2009 concluiu o doutorado no Programa de Pós-graduação em Administração de Empresas da Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie na área de concentração Finanças Estratégicas. É Professor Titular da Universidade Federal de Lavras e atual diretor da Faculdade de Ciências Sociais Aplicadas. É professor na graduação e no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Administração como docente permanente. Os temas de interesse em pesquisas e orientações estão relacionados com Finanças corporativas e Finanças comportamentais, particularmente fusões & aquisições, estrutura de capital, gerenciamento de resultados, medidas de desempenho, ativos intangíveis, vieses cognitivos e decisões de investimento.
