Résumé

This study aims to analyze how intrapreneurship contributes to technological eco-innovation in green tech startups. The study explores the frontier of intrapreneurship, highlighting its potential in creating technological eco-innovations. It also emphasizes the importance of investigating intrapreneurship in startups with sustainable business models, especially green techs. Five startups, including three in renewable energies and two in paper recycling, were analyzed through multiple case studies. Content analysis, supported by ATLAS.ti software, revealed that intrapreneurship is a catalyst for the creation and implementation of eco-innovations in products and processes. These actions go beyond traditional boundaries, indicating the influence of organizational culture and company strategy. Elements such as autonomy, freedom, and access to resources drive intrapreneurship, reflecting in the innovation perceived by the human capital of the startups. The research also highlighted that managerial support and entrepreneurial culture are determining factors for the success of intrapreneurship. As future perspectives, it is recommended to investigate intrapreneurship in startups from different markets and regions, as well as to explore the influence of regional cultures on promoting intrapreneurship for eco-innovations.
